Timing chain problem

I'm not sure if there's a timing chain tensioner issue on my Frontier because I'm hearing the same type of noise I heard on my other vehicle which was diagnosed for that reason. Anyone who's had their timing chain replaced or fixed what's up? How can I remove that annoying sound upon startup?

Yeah, the startup rattle is usually a sign that the tensioner is already wearing out. I had mine done around 90k and it quieted right up. Go replace it ASAP if you want to avoid all the stress.

you mean tensioner clamps? The cover needs to com off either way.

@Grimmie not sure how good you are with tools and how much you know about something like this, but I would suggest taking it to a mechanic, one that deals with frontiers
