Towing question

A buddy of mine found a good deal on a honda element, but it's not quite local, so it was time to whip out my frontier's towin capacity and offer to get it for him. The element is about 3,500 lbs I think, plus however much the trailer weigs, so I'm way below the max capacity. I'm not too concerned about that, but I am looking for some tips and tricks to make the experience go as smooth as possible

I believe it should be doable for your Frontier. just make sure the trailer hitch and ball size are correct for the trailer you're using. Double check the trailer lights that it's all working! Also your tires, check both your Frontier and trailers

Agree with everyone here. just curious though, what kind of trailer are you planning to use, is it like a flatbed or a car dolly? And does the trailer have its own brakes? those two things can really change how you tow. good luck!

Aww, it's nice of you to help your buddy out. Does the trailer have brakes? Tongue weight should also stay in check. Take it easy on downhills tell him.
