I flew to Sacramento to pick up a 2017 Nissan Frontier and drove it back to Bakersfield. I kept a steady 75 mph and still got 18.2 mpg. The ride was quiet smooth, and I am just so glad that after months of searching, I finally found the right one. I've owned many trucks, but this one's my favorite!

That sounds like an awesome trip and a great find! Getting 18.2 MPG at 75 mph in a 2017 Frontier is pretty solid, especially for a truck. Any tips or tricks you used to get such great fuel economy on the highway? Are you also eyeing any upgrades?

Did you notice any wind noise around the mirrors or roof at highway speed, or is it really that quiet the whole way through?

I kept the cruise control on and avoided sudden throttle changes, it seemed to help a lot. As for upgrades, I'm thinking about a soft tonneau cover and maybe new tires, but keeping it mostly stock

There was a little wind noise around the mirrors, but nothing too annoying, it is quieter than I expected for a mid-size truck, I might try adding some weatherstripping later to cut it down more
