Clunking noise coming from my Frontier

I love my Frontier, but it has gotten weird in these past few weeks. It stopped normally on a flat road, but then a few seconds after that, there is a clunking noise and you can feel it.

It's like the car wanted to crawl lol.

I didn't hear it when I stopped on the hills tho'.

My friend helped me to remove everything out of the car, but it still happened.

With what's happening, I can only think it has something to do with the rear differential or the parking brake system. Maybe it's time you bring it to a mechanic if you haven't!

I have a 2014 5SP and it does that from time to time, been wondering at first then just got used to it lol.

Have you checked the brake calipers to see if one might be sticking? do a quick look at the rear diff fluid level. hopefully, it's nothing too complicated

That clunking noise when you stop might be from worn suspension bushings or loose body mounts, which can happen a lot with Frontiers. Since it only happens on flat roads, it could be due to the weight shifting

Good idea to clear out the car, but you should definitely have a mechanic take a look at those suspension parts and maybe the driveshaft joints. Don't wait too long to get it checked

I've been hearing a lot of failures surrounding the Frontier lately and it's just too sad. What's been up with Nissan? I hope the newer ones are fixed and resolve the issues. Nissan, get someone into the forums!
