2006 frontier nismo upgrade questions

My cousin wants to add a cold air intake, a cat back exhaust (not sure what kind), and a Hypertech tuner.

But then he saw in a site, that people are diggin' UpRev tunes. They also said to do all your mods before the UpRev tune.

So, if my cousin goes with UpRev, should he also swap out the stock exhaust manifold for headers?
Is that a pain and expensive for little gain? Same question for highflow cats, is it worth the cash?

Any other cheap upgrades he should look at? He just finished college, so he's kinda broke lol. Any advice is welcome! Thanks!

If your cousin's on a budget, he should stick to the cold air intake, cat back exhaust, and uprev tune. Headers and high flow cats are great for max performance but are pricey for the gains. He can always add them later once he has more funds

If he's tight on cash, I'd say skip headers and high-flow cats for now, installing them can be a pain and pricey for minimal gains without a full build
