I just got a full set of ArmorGrip skid plates for my Frontier! I read that the radiator skid might not play nice with the stock front recovery point. I'm here to see if anyone has recos for a recovery point that won't rub the bumper when a strap is attached? An aftermarket one will be good

Hey there, I ran into a similar pickle with my setup last winter. I put a couple of shackles on the factory tow hook loops after I installed my skids. Have you thought about just using those instead of a whole new single point? It's worked for me so far and kept me from getting stuck in a real bind a few times out on the trail. They don't hit my bumper at all.

creative solution and I applaude you sir for it.

@lucie-fanshawe there are multiple options, Artec Industries, Zroadz ADD and a few more, but I'd reach out ot them and ask about fitment and compatibility. There's no point in paying for something that you'll still need to improvise.

Nice pickup on the ArmorGrip set! I remember a buddy's setup that bent the bumper slightly from a poorly placed D-ring. so yeah go aftermarket and look for one angled downward or with a shackle mount spacer

Check out the Artec recovery brackets if you haven't already. They clear the bumper nicely and line up clean with most skid setups.
