My stepdad just installed a new Tekonsha Voyager brake controller (the 9030C one) in his 2020 Frontier.
When he hooked the trailer up and hit the truck's brakes, the little light on the controller goes from green to red, and it changes when he messed with the controller and gain knobs, so that seems cool.
BUT, here's the weird part: when he yanked that manual override lever all the way, the light just stays green! Doesn't matter if he have cranked those controller and gain knobs all the way up.
We're confused here. Does that mean the manual lever ain't actually doing anything to the trailer brakes?
If that's the case, any ideas on what the heck we should check to figure out why it's notworking? Cheers!
